What we build

Three kinds of work

Web applications

Custom applications built with React, Next.js and Node. Single page apps, progressive web apps, admin dashboards, customer portals and SaaS products.

Mobile applications

iOS in Swift, Android in Kotlin, or cross platform with React Native. Push notifications, offline use and app store submission handled.

Backend and APIs

REST and GraphQL APIs, database design, authentication and security, third party integrations and cloud deployment.

Pricing

Quoted per project, and here is why

An app is not a package. Two products that sound identical in a first conversation can differ by a factor of five once you know what they have to integrate with and who has to use them. So we do not publish a price list we would have to argue with later.

Builds start at $5,000. If the idea is still forming, start with Technical Discovery below. It is the cheapest way to find out what you are actually asking for, and it is credited back against the build on qualifying projects.

Technical Discovery

$750

A fixed price piece of work that turns a rough idea into a specification you could hand to any developer.

  • Requirements and user flows
  • Technical approach and stack
  • Architecture outline
  • Realistic build estimate
  • Written specification you keep

Credited toward the build on qualifying projects.

Full build

Scoped, quoted and scheduled after discovery, or straight away if you already have a specification. Tell us what the product has to do and who has to use it.

How it runs

Six stages

You see working software throughout rather than a long silence followed by a reveal.

  1. Discovery and planning

We work out what the product has to do, who it is for and what it has to talk to, then write it down as a specification and a roadmap.

  2. Design and prototyping

Interface design and an interactive prototype, so you see how it looks and behaves before anyone writes production code.

  3. Development

Built in short cycles with regular demos. You see working software throughout rather than at the end.

  4. Testing and QA

Tested across devices and edge cases, checked for security, and put under load before it goes anywhere near your customers.

  5. Deployment and launch

App store submission, cloud servers or your own hosting. Documentation and training included.

  6. Support and maintenance

Ongoing updates and monitoring so the thing you paid for keeps working.

Questions

Before you commit

Because no two applications are the same, and a number quoted before anyone understands the problem is a guess that someone ends up paying for. Builds start at $5,000 and are quoted per project.

A fixed price piece of work, $750, that turns a rough idea into a written specification: requirements, user flows, technical approach, architecture and a realistic estimate. You keep the document whether or not we build it, and you could hand it to any developer.

No. It is credited toward the build on qualifying projects, and if you walk away you still own a specification that means the next quote you get is based on something real.

40 percent to start, 30 percent at an agreed milestone, and 30 percent before production launch.

Yes, on full payment, along with the documentation. Third party libraries stay under their own licences, as they do everywhere.

Yes. Ongoing support and maintenance is agreed as part of the build rather than bolted on afterwards.

Still at the idea stage?

That is normal, and it is what Technical Discovery is for. Book a call and we will tell you whether you need it or whether you already know enough.
